Poor New Years Day Service

The call delay was too long having to wait almost 48 hours for a call back from a clinician and then having to wait again another 24 hours for a call back to be seen in a out of hours base. Was advised Lowestoft and Beccles Out of hours base was closed due to no clinical cover. Only area that was open was Gorleston out of Hours Service at the James Paget hospital. When arrived was advised they had no Doctor and the Paramedic was unable to prescribe luckily I was transferred over the the GPFD service at the James paget Hospital which seem more organised and better ran. The Provider IC24 service is appalling service. This seem to be a regular occurrence where they do not open a service in Beccles or Lowestoft due to no clinical cover as this has happened several times to me. The service is slow and very poorly managed with very little care. Dreadful service! In future I’ll be using the GPFD service in the James Paget Hospital which is far more superior then the IC24 service.
