Prescription timing difficult

Needed help getting my prescription allocated for over a bank holiday weekend. My GP was on call and so I did get it. The timing was difficult as I am not allowed to put it in unless I have less than a week left, but you have to allow 3 working days, but with the bank holiday I would have ran out.
