Barrack Lane Medical Centre

Costly call charges when ringing the practice

My wife received an SMS from Barrack Lane to do with her repeat prescription request, so she rang the practice straight away from her mobile. When the call was answered she was 8th in the call queue, so waited patiently to speak with them. When she got to speak she was told someone would call her back later. However the cost of the call she'd made was just over £30. How can this be, as she rang the Ipswich number?
