Back disc and outcome.
Exceptional explanation given.
No quick fix but left feeling positive. An amazing Lady.
More importantly..the whole place looked Mint clean, smelt Mint clean.

Physiotherapy and support for sciatica

I have been seeing (my physiotherapist) regularly over several years concerning severe sciatica arising from spinal nerve compression, which culminated in major back surgery at the Nuffield Hospital Ipswich. During this period they have demonstrated significant and full knowledge of physiotherapy and related muscle skeletal issues. Moreover they have an excellent communication manner putting patients at ease explaining what is wrong, treatment available and more importantly giving patients hope and confidence things will get better. In my case I found their kindness and unwavering support during this difficult period helped me to cope with the severe pain I was experiencing. Thank you

The consultant from James Paget eye clinic comes down to Beccles with a seperate clinic for us, it is very conveinient for me and any other local patients.

I feel we are very lucky to have our little hospital here in Beccles, we get to have blood tests locally.

I got seen within 30 minutes of arriving for my appointment. From that they said I needed to see my GP on the Monday, which I managed to do.

As Kirkley Mill is unacceptable we find it is better to drive the six miles to Beccles. The "appointment system" is unacceptable. When it was at Lowestoft Hospital - an excellent service managed by one volunteer. Kirkley Mill employs two people plus the volunteer who used to do it alone. The appointment is never the day you ring up. Also, it is not a decent bus route.

8am 1Juy 2017. Called 111; within 5 minutes GP called back. 3 doctors waiting at Beccles hospital who informed James Paget hospital.

The Physio at Beccles hospital- Staff are kind and do the exercises with you, whereas previously the physio service in Lowestoft was terrible, as they only gave me exercises on a leaflet and left me to it. I was concerned that I would not do them in the correct position.

Needing to have a blood test regularly is quite a tie. I always go to here and they are welcoming and usually very quick which helps.

When I had to stay at Beccles hospital, I asked the day I was leaving if I could stay on a two week holiday in September. The place is great at making you feel human. For example, you get a proper cup for water, not plastic.
