Poor information when booking appointment

Booked an appointment for contact lens check and eye test. Was given appointments for both on the 19/12/15. When talking to the optician after the eye test he said that I needed another eye test after I had been wearing glasses to get a more accurate assessment or I could take the prescription from the present check and risk it would be OK. So pay for another test or take a chance. And they failed to phone me about the contact len costs, only getting in touch after I chased them. Should have gone to specsaver!
