Emergency dental care
My usual dentist who advised me that I had been deregistered due to cancelling an appointment, did not complete a registration form, so was not registered with them anymore, Although I disagreed with this, I had no alternative but to urgently find another dentist. I urgently needed advice and possible treatment to a tooth that was causing me problems before I start chemotherapy in a few days times. After days of discussions with 111, calling various dental surgeries as listed on NHS website, I managed to make contact with The Bridge House Dental Practice. The surgery offered me an appointment and I found at the dentist it is very clean, all the staff are very respectful, helpful, polite and demonstrated a high standard of customer care and ensured they and patients followed COVID19 PPE, hand wash, social distancing procedure. I was nervous on arrival, but I was put at ease by the dentist, assistant, who were informative, caring, efficient and gentle. Knowledgeable about dental care for cancer patients. My options, plan for dental care was discussed and I am expected to return to the surgery and look forward to this.
