Appointment Booking
I'm ending up having delayed treatment due to the essesive difficulty in booking appointments. When I call at 8am (the only time you can get an appointment) the call queue is long even if I call on the dot of 8am. Often I cannot get into the queue on the dot of 8am due to caller volume and if I do the wait is more than 15 minutes by which time I have to take my children to school so cannot hold on the line. I then tried the econsult appointment form which had a question about symptoms, none of which I have, with no option to select none of the above. When I called I was advised to select a symptom I don't have which I do not want on my record as it would be untrue. The service at Bures once you get an appointment is great. I feel this service is not providing adequate access for patients to access appointments and therefore patient treatment is being delayed unnecessarily. Could there be an online re-referal request form?
