Bury South Integrated Delivery Team (IDT) - Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust


I was very well impressed

My Gp told me that my 3 weekly injection (which has kept me stable for many years) was no longer available. I was referred to Bury South IDT who visited me at home. I expressed my concern that my mental health would deteriorate if I could no longer have the medication. A follow up appointment with a consultant psychiatrist was arranged. The consultant had a discussion with the Trust pharmacist who advised my GP of where the medication could be obtained. I was very well impressed with the way the potential problem was handled by the Trust. This was especially the case as I was kept informed of progress by copies of all correspondence and an offer to contact the same mental health practitioner at any time I had a problem.
