Right to Respond

Healthwatch is committed to providing a transparent and honest view of health and social care services. This is your opportunity as the health or social care provider to have your say on comments the public have left. It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

  • Keep the language and tone civil
  • Don't mention personal details
  • Make it relevant to the review

Remember, your response will be seen by everyone who reads your organisation's comments, not just the original reviewer. Your reply is a good opportunity to acknowledge any comments received.

Varied experience

Have spoken to various clinicians. Once a paramedic told us to 'treat at home', when we knew it was serious. We took ourselves to A&E, who said that we should have been seen by a GP sooner. I have now seen a GP and as it is a constant issue, I did feel they could have just issued the anti-biotics. So when we felt we should be seen, we were not and when we felt they could just issue the meds without an appointment, we were seen!
