Poor communication

I was verbally told of an appointment but it was never confirmed. I had no time slot either. I called and the receptionist made me feel like it was my fault and she was more busy than anyone. She had no empathy for my child who bolted out the door last time as they were so behind. She was rude too. She also said parents must remember to call every 6 months to book a check up as we can’t book them in advance in case we forget! She said it’s like that at every dentist. Never heard of that before.

Although I've not had the appointment yet I'm so pleased and grateful that Turning point have helped me get an appointment to have my dental issues looked at and I'll now hopefully get them sorted.

I get seen quickly and the dentist is good a keeping me calm. It would be nice if they spoke to you before or after but not during treatment as you can't answer.

I go regularly for my dental checks and the service has been very good

Very calming. Amazing staff. The dental nurse is really wonderful. They have been really great.

When I need an appointment I can get one of my support workers to help me make the call. The dentist talks to me about what they will do and they keep me calm.

My dentist is brilliant. She made sure I was relaxed and asked me to make animal noises to help me. I have a learning disability and she makes it as nice as it can be.
