Right to Respond

Healthwatch is committed to providing a transparent and honest view of health and social care services. This is your opportunity as the health or social care provider to have your say on comments the public have left. It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

  • Keep the language and tone civil
  • Don't mention personal details
  • Make it relevant to the review

Remember, your response will be seen by everyone who reads your organisation's comments, not just the original reviewer. Your reply is a good opportunity to acknowledge any comments received.

Bookings could be better.

Receptionists have a hard job and have to manage expectations and don't appear to get much support - staff are generally good.. The booking procedure is difficult. Luckily, I have someone who can queue for me by phoning, would be very difficult to get an appointment as they are are all gone by the time you get through. When you get to see a good doctor it goes very well. Not everything is an emergency but you can't book an appointment for next week.
