Right to Respond

Healthwatch is committed to providing a transparent and honest view of health and social care services. This is your opportunity as the health or social care provider to have your say on comments the public have left. It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

  • Keep the language and tone civil
  • Don't mention personal details
  • Make it relevant to the review

Remember, your response will be seen by everyone who reads your organisation's comments, not just the original reviewer. Your reply is a good opportunity to acknowledge any comments received.

Your COVID-19 vaccination feedback

Appalling lack of contact and communication

When the vaccination programme started to be rolled out we were assured that it would be fair; those in the highest priority groups would be vaccinated first. This has not happened. Friends who are patients with Leiston and Saxmundham practices have already had their vaccinations even though they are not in the priority groups whereas many of us who are in the priority groups are still waiting to hear from the GP Federation in the Woodbridge area. We all thankful for the health care professionals and volunteers who are going above and beyond but even in the local area there seems to be huge disparity. The situation is made worse by a complete lack of communication from the GP Federation. This is causing additional anxiety.
