I'm still on the list to be an NHS patient

I have been with the practice for years and two years ago my dentist went fully private and they offered for me to be a private patient, they tried to transfer me to an NHS dentist but she left. So I have been told that I am still on the list here to be an NHS patient. I then had to get some root canal work done and they do not do root canal at this practice so I was forced to seek a private practice to get it done quickly it cost hundreds of pounds. So I have currently been told I can use the DDS My Plan which is apparently cheaper than private but more expensive than NHS. I still hope to get back on the NHS patient list.
