Disparity when you ring later in day

Surgery overall is excellent. There is however a disparity between calling first thing and if you call later in the day. - Ringing in the morning. You wait a little while but it gets answered in a very reasonable amount of time. Today I was triaged too and have now come in for the appointment. - Calling later in the day. I called recently at 3pm and it took 1 1/2 hours to have the call answered. They did apologise and said they had a lot of calls.
