Stopping NHS service for children
I was extremely disappointed to learn that this dental practice will no longer be seeing children as NHS patients as they have made the decision to stop their NHS contract. I was told that it would be my final appointment for my 14-year old son and we would have to be a private patient in future or find another NHS dentist. The decision had already been made and we were only informed face to face in our check-up, there has been no other communication to patients which is appalling. How can a dental practice just decide to stop their NHS contract without any consultation with patients?
