Unsure of treatment received
Firstly, the receptionist found it acceptable to ask people in the middle of the waiting room if they received benefits & if so what benefits it was, in the middle of a full waiting room. There was no consideration for the confidentiality or the privacy of the patients. When I entered the treatment room, I did not even know the name of the dentist or the nurse & was not introduced to them. I left not knowing what treatment had been received & the numbing gel they put on (and didn’t tell me about) ran down my throat and felt as if it was closing up. With previous anaphylaxis I was scared the same had happened, seen as the dentist had not paid consideration to my allergy list I gave. The receptionist was more helpful about pain relief after than the dentist was.
