Right to Respond

Healthwatch is committed to providing a transparent and honest view of health and social care services. This is your opportunity as the health or social care provider to have your say on comments the public have left. It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

  • Keep the language and tone civil
  • Don't mention personal details
  • Make it relevant to the review

Remember, your response will be seen by everyone who reads your organisation's comments, not just the original reviewer. Your reply is a good opportunity to acknowledge any comments received.

Telephone waiting is understandable

As everyone is told to phone first thing if you'd like an appointment, it means you wait for quite some time and I understand that. I personally feel the system needs to change so there are various times to call. Get more people online booking for non emergency things. I believe however, that you cannot book for a GP online now, so they need to change that too, as non-emergency things tend to be long term conditions and for that you do want to see your own GP.
