Terrible experience for partner

Awful place. Smells of urine. Partner in for respite and he came out with UTI and causing sepsis pneumonia. Had one fall whilst in too. Ended up in James Paget for 3 weeks

The home has gone down hill. No longer is it a nice place to visit. Staff not happy. Residents not Happy, many showing signs of distress. No compassion, empathy or dignity. New manager never there. No structure or guidance from new management. Home seems to be left to its own devices - some in no uniform, smoking seen at the entrance of the care home.
