Howard House Surgery

I was given incorrect medication

in Autumn 2023 I saw the nurse practitioner at the surgery. I went to collect my usual medication from the pharmacy and I was given 3 different medications, 2 boxes that I recognised and 1 box that I did not recognise. The pharmacist asked me if this third box had definitely been prescribed to me?, I looked at them and it was identified that these were infact medication which were not for me at all! Thank goodness the pharmacist flagged it up to me as a query otherwise I wouldn't have known. I phoned the surgery as soon as I got home and explained the situation and I was told by the lady who answered the phone to bring the third box in, but I kept it, the explanation given to me was that the nurse practitioner must have left open the screen from the previous patient and hence the mix up, I was very annoyed.
