Right to Respond

Healthwatch is committed to providing a transparent and honest view of health and social care services. This is your opportunity as the health or social care provider to have your say on comments the public have left. It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

  • Keep the language and tone civil
  • Don't mention personal details
  • Make it relevant to the review

Remember, your response will be seen by everyone who reads your organisation's comments, not just the original reviewer. Your reply is a good opportunity to acknowledge any comments received.

Barely informed me

During Covid - they tried to make me have an induction when I went in for a 39 week scan (due to baby size). I flatly refused and was able to deliver the baby myself on my due date. They barely informed us about anything. E.G. Just 'we are breaking your waters' - no information to us about the infection risk etc. Now on my 2nd pregnancy - I have not seen the same midwife twice. I have any appointment today to look at my birth plan.
