Ipswich Hospital (Part of the East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust)

No follow up

After being referred to have a growth removed, the clinic I attended in the community, said it is too big for them to remove it. It is affecting my life and I have heard nothing about it. I rang PALS at the hospital, left a message and still heard nothing from them. I will try them again as I need to know what is happening. It is frustrating as when I first went there, they said it was too small to worry about and then it now is too big. No one tells you what size something has to be to get treatment, and even then how will you know when to try access the service because you then go on a waiting list too, whilst the thing is still growing! Just no follow-up communication leaving me fed up, mentally already unwell and this has meant I now hate going out as I am so self conscious of it.
