Did not deal with issue

I contacted my GP with huge amount of pain, as no appointments, they said if I feel I need to be seen I need to phone 111 after hours or go to A&E. I had to go on the bus, sat for ages, had a chat and was told nothing was wrong, but they did no scan. Went home in absolute agony and it did not go away and was getting worse, this time I got a Taxi. They did an X-Ray and as a result sent me down for major surgery on a twisted bowel! I cannot believe that I was palmed off with no initial investigations and I have lost trust in them being thorough. Just feel I was treated diabolically.
