Healthwatch is committed to providing a transparent and honest view of health and social care services. This is your opportunity as the health or social care provider to have your say on comments the public have left. It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

  • Keep the language and tone civil
  • Don't mention personal details
  • Make it relevant to the review

Difficult interaction

I was sent to phlebotomy by my GP. When I arrived at the phlebotomy clinic the first person I saw said "I suppose you have come from your surgery"? I said that I had, she told me that I had to ring and book for this service and said that I could do this on my mobile phone from outside, I told her that the doctor had sent me! she then said "sit down then". Sadly this was a difficult interaction, attitude from the staff member could have been better.
