In for a week having a baby
This follows on from my previous feedback. After being in hospital and sent home on the third day I was then induced on the fourth day. By the evening a very vigilant senior mid-wife insisted that they broke my waters as things had 'gone on long enough' and the babies heart rate was not settling. I am so glad she insisted on this as things got rolling. Eventually after a long night I was prepped for a potential C Section because the baby was back to back and could not get out. The staff in the theatre were amazing and they had the baby out very quickly thankfully by just turning him with forceps. Our two midwives were lovely and I was then transferred to Orwell ward. It was impressive to have so many services come and see us in one go. I think some may find this rather full on, but I thought it was good to get them all through in one go then we had a good chance of going home sooner!
