scans too limited

Ten years ago my husband after we found out he had lung cancer. He originally had had bowel cancer 9 years prior and had been having 6 monthly scans to check there was no recurrence. Unfortunately the scans only covered the lower body so by the time the lung cancers were spotted they were very advanced. It would have been better if full body scans had been done
