A&E excellent.

Excellent service in A&E, very thorough. Once in assessment ward (Brantham) was left (after being given something to eat) for long periods while waiting for doctor to assess. Was helpful to have assistance at meal times but at other times drinks were left out of reach and not prompted. Staff unaware of several aspects of condition and as patients speech difficult - some guesswork. Board behind bed not filled in - had to tell staff diabetic.
