Original feedback for

Ipswich Hospital (Part of the East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust)

good

Just before xmas I went in to have a back operation. I was very shocked and surprised when I was discharged 2 days later. I didn't feel ready to go home as I hadn't even been able to go to the toilet on my own. The consultant wouldn't give me an MRI scan on my back for some reason, but if I went privately and paid I would be able to have the MRI scan. I had the back op completed at Ipswich Hospital but don't understand why I had to go private for the MRI scan Private fees: £200 consultation, £400 for scan, £200 for results
