Good doctors but telephone staff are lacking
After routine blood tests myself and my husband were advised to see a doctor. It was difficult to get past member of staff on phone who twice said but your blood tests were fine, I impressed upon her that we had no dire wish to come in and see GP but was told by practice nurse that we should, she then arranged an appointment. I appreciate that some patients can be time consuming when perhaps there isn’t a need, these patients should be red flagged on your system and not all treated as a nuisance, that was how I was made to feel. I’ve heard from several people also about staff on desk asking what their health problem is before giving appointments, people should not have to discuss their private health issues where others can overhear. I’d like to say the service given by medical staff is fantastic...........
