Disappointing attitude

I was receiving treatment that I've had a number of times before but always with local anaesthetic but this time the new consultant decided that it wasn't necessary. They then got annoyed with me when the pain became too much. I managed to cope for some of the treatment to be carried out but couldn't bear all of it. They made it very clear they were not impressed and wouldn't even look or speak directly to me, preferring to speak through the nurse. The nurse throughout was lovely but I will never see that consultant again .
