Postponed operation (3 times) was successful
Having waited over a year in great pain for a replacement hip operation I was disappointed to be called three times for the procedure. The first was postponed for a week, four days before the appointment. The second was postponed for three weeks after I was in hospital gowned and sedated. Eventually I had the operation carried out by the surgeon, to whom I am sincerely grateful. It would help though if the hospital aimed for a 'first time - every time' approach to delivery of services.
