My aunt was well looked after
January 12, 2021
My aunt, Margarita Wallace lived in Jeian from March 2015 to December 2020, when she died, aged 95. The staff were always caring and attentive, respecting my aunt Rita's dignity at all times. They were always willing to make her cups of tea if she wanted, prepared food in accordance with her requests and always seemed to find time to try to engage her in conversation. The staff were always proactive in contacting her GP if they had concerns about her health. They always kept me informed regarding any concerns they had about my aunt. The overall impression they left me with was that they cared for my aunt, treating her the way they would want a relative, or themselves, to be treated if they were resident in a care home.
Not great care but staff friendly
March 24, 2017
The staff were friendly but on my family members first night they fell out of bed, they then did put the side of the bed up to stop it happening again. The food has not been great, there was no headboard on the bed, the shower didn't work as it flooded which meant they haven't been showered much. I don't think the bed sheets have been changed in 21/2 weeks and there is very little cleaning done. There have been few activities and there is no proper dining area.
