They have improved their phone system

I do think they have improved their phone system at the surgery, you know where you are now in the queue which does help. Getting appointments are generally not too bad, there appears to be fewer doctors visible at the surgery these days.
They do say urgent only on the day but sometimes they will get you in quickly, if you want to see a doctor for something that is not too serious then its usually booking ahead about 2-3 weeks. I do think if we were allowed to send an email with a medical question this would be helpful. It would be good to have the option of seeing just the nurse for a minor question about medical things rather than always using the doctor but Im not aware of that. Are the reception call handlers gatekeepers or facilitators? it makes a difference. On the whole staff are brilliant.

This branch is the best of the group in my experience. Much easier to access than Kessingland itself. I ring there on the day and can usually see the GP I want to as I know what day he is there and if it can wait I am happy as I know I will always get in

With an ongoing condition I have found seeing the same GP here very valuable. As I am also under the hospital (James Paget) it is good to have the communication between the services.

I usually come here or go to Wangford. The phone lines going into Kessingland can take sometime to answer, but I tend to leave it unto 10 minutes after the lines open and then get through quite quickly. I prefer Wangford and Wrentham as much more personalble. I will see any GP as long as I can go to those two places.

Excellent ongoing care. I am usually at Kessingland but travelled here today to see my regular GP which I do not mind. They cover a large area so I am fine to travel across the area.

Excellent local service that I hope we don't loose in time. Invaluable for this area, as can find transport to get to other places. Good dispensary too.

Rang on the day and got an appointment straight away. It is convenient to have the local surgery as we are local. I have also used Kessingland when this one is closed and that was all good too.

Always looked after me and my family. Not always a GP present, but anyone we've seen has been able to deal with the issue. If only what they could do.

Queued up at Kessingland today and got an appointment with my preferred GP but have travelled to Wrentham which is fine as that is important to me.

As I drive I have come to Kessingland today, but I usually go to Wrentham. They are equally good. Staff are caring and generally you get to see someone on the day if that is appropriate.
