very rude receptionist

i phoned up about a medication review i'd misssed. i had been out in the garden the evening before and hadn't heard the phone ring. they left a voicemail to which i was replying. the receptionist was very aggressive implying it was my fault. how could i know they'd phoned if i didn't hear it? the receptionist was virtually shouting at me and i was actually shaking when the call ended.
