Right to Respond

Healthwatch is committed to providing a transparent and honest view of health and social care services. This is your opportunity as the health or social care provider to have your say on comments the public have left. It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

  • Keep the language and tone civil

Wanted a blood pressure check

I was with a close friend of mine and said she felt dreadful, all of a sudden she slid to the floor feeling faint and weak, she went round to the GP surgery once she recovered somewhat and asked if she could have her blood pressure checked because of the episode but was told that there wasn't anyone available to do this and was suggested she go to the local pharmacy which is a car drive away, this really did not seem right, asking her to drive to get her blood pressure checked and why could she not get it done at the surgery.
