Original feedback for

Very poor. I was asked to pay for treatment I did not need

I attended an appointment at 8.30 for a routine inspection. I was told that my x-ray showed that there was decay under one of my crowned teeth and shown an xray allegedly supported this. I was told that the crown needed to come off. The tooth underneath would need fixing and then I could have a silver metal crown for about £250 or the work done privately (gold crown) for £550. I have to pay at least 1/3 of the cost upfront. I went back to reception to book the private appointment and they told me and they told me I would have to pay 1/3 of the cost upfront. I decided to leave it and returned to the dentist who had fitted it 20 years previously. He examined me and the ex-ray and found NOTHING WRONG
