Wellbeing website use

I had a very serious mental health crisis some years ago, and have been pointed since to the Wellbeing website numerous times by my GP, mainly as a starting point in order to find a private therapist. Which is to say, I have for some years repeatedly requested help in assessing the underlying causes of that initial mental health crisis, and been told by my GP that Suffolk mental health services are both overstrained and inadequate, that I would likely be denied assessment as I "don't currently appear to be suffering from anything", and as such that the NHS cannot help me with further assessment. So I have basically been referred to a set of unhelpful online "mindfulness" tips, and links to a list of therapists who aren't taking clients, in lieu of actual help. I have thus been mainly muddling on with a prescription for sertraline (which does actually help), and very few answers as to what else might be going on.
