Poor emergency support.

Dementia intensive support team. A resident was in crisis during the night and had no calmer to be administered. Emergency were called. They advised my colleague that there was nothing they could do to help or support at that time and stated that the police should be called. After this telephone they rang back 10 minutes later and stated they were unable to help but to call out of hours social services to get the resident sectioned. Felt let down.
