More support from voluntary organisations
Tried to get support in February as I have a boarderline personality disorder and I'm under Bury South IDT but they wouldn't see me. In the end the police took me to A&E where I waited 7 hours but no one was there who could see me, so I left. I went back to A&E two weeks later, I was there for 1 hour and again was told no one was available to see me and that they would call me the next day (Monday). This didn't happen even though they had made an urgent referral. When my husband then called he was told that we shouldn't have been told it was urgent and that I would have to wait my turn even though I was self harming and felt suicidal. It was only after I contacted my MP that I was given an appointment and received an apology as they had lost me in the system. I now have to wait a month for my appointment. Local voluntary organisations have been more supportive than the Trust.
