Right to Respond

Healthwatch is committed to providing a transparent and honest view of health and social care services. This is your opportunity as the health or social care provider to have your say on comments the public have left. It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

  • Keep the language and tone civil
  • Don't mention personal details
  • Make it relevant to the review

Remember, your response will be seen by everyone who reads your organisation's comments, not just the original reviewer. Your reply is a good opportunity to acknowledge any comments received.

Feels like they don't want to help

There is a lack of communication, letters do not arrive and they say that you cancel your appointments, when you're not invited in the first place, it really feels like they don't want to help. The service isn't together enough to be able to help either, no one talks to each other. There is also a huge gap in the service when students return from university. It makes it incredibly difficult to get the support needed. Its taken 3 months to get an appointment since I came home. There should be continuous care from one provider to another. I really can't get the support I need and have to rely on a charity for support. I saw my old care coordinator once but then heard nothing more.
