Right to Respond

Healthwatch is committed to providing a transparent and honest view of health and social care services. This is your opportunity as the health or social care provider to have your say on comments the public have left. It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

  • Keep the language and tone civil
  • Don't mention personal details
  • Make it relevant to the review

Remember, your response will be seen by everyone who reads your organisation's comments, not just the original reviewer. Your reply is a good opportunity to acknowledge any comments received.

Explanations were lacking

I recently was told to get blood tests done by a doctor but that was all they said so I came to have it done but on arrival I found out that appointments now have to be made and you can't just turn up. It would've been helpful if this had been explained by the doctor. When using Ask My GP the responses are received in a good time and that side of things is fine, its just that information is sometimes lacking.
