Oakfield Surgery


Staff very friendly

I am concerned that there is no dedicated parking area for GP patients when it moves to the Newmarket hospital as a location. The staff are always friendly and sociable and helpful on the phone. I usually ring at 8 am and I can usually get an appointment on the day. There is a voluntary bus for transport around the town but you do have to book in advance so I'm not sure if that will be helpful to patients or not. Communication needs to be better when doctors are running late for their appointments. Some of the doctors do not always make things as clear as I would like and I have felt a bit rushed at times.
