mixed bag...

This happened between Feb and May 2015 in the dementia unit. There were good bits: staff were friendly, surroundings were nice and food was good. But not so good: meant to be a specialist dementia unit but staff were unable to always persuade her to have assistance to wash. There did not appear to be an established day/night routine, she was not changed into nightwear. She blocked her door with a chair at night because she was frightened of other residents who 'wandered' and sometimes came into her room. She told me she had had a fall but the staff said that she hadn't. it was later confirmed that she had fallen during the night but the night staff hadn't handed this information over to the day staff or filled in any paperwork.
