Early intervention avoided heart attack

Good to have a local surgery, although I am able to travel to Wickham Market easily. Many young families in the area so they may have to reconsider the opening hours in future. I have had good treatment, especially after chest pains/angina diagnosis. I was referred to chest clinic at Ipswich Hospital and a triple bypass was needed which I then had at Papworth. Due to early intervention I never experienced an actual heart attack.
Travel to here and it runs late

I find it difficult to get an appointment at the Rendlesham surgery so often have to come here. It is quite a trip and when the surgery does not run on time it can make your day really long and quite exhausting.
Waiting room atmosphere awful

My appointment has never been on time, and so you can be waiting for some time in the very quiet waiting room. You can hear a pin drop. All it needs is a radio playing in the background. It just would help with the atmosphere in there.
Wish I could see my own GP more

I do not need the surgery very much, but when I do it is mostly fine. It can run behind when you have an appointment and I no longer get to see my own GP, which I would prefer due to ongoing conditions

I do not use the surgery very often, but I have found at this surgery the receptionist is always cheerful and helpful.
