Refused to see relative
We had a family member on holiday with us and they needed medical attention. They refused to see them (reception) and told us to 'take them to their own surgery,' Well that was impossible as it was not exactly close by (not in England). We rang their surgery who told us what we should say to them, and we used the correct 'sentences'. They then saw them, but it should not have been like that. It was unnecessarily stressful and a shocking bedside manner by people who were on the telephone. I find the surgery unresponsive to suggestions given, such as having a clock in the waiting area. Many would find that quite a normal request, but they said 'well WE do not want one.'
