Original feedback for

Spring Road Pharmacy

So incredibly rude to my husband

One staff member is lovely however the other staff can be somewhat challenging, most of the time they're ok with me but often quite rude and unhelpful with my husband, today's experience was the last straw for him so we have decided to move pharmacy's which is sad because we like to support the smaller independent retailer. Currently there is a shortage of ADHD meds, so was pleased when I called the pharmacy on 30.12.23 to be told by a member of staff that my son's medication was physically there in his hand ready for collection. Husbands first day back at work today so goes to collect this prescription, and is told, "it's not there", "we haven't got" (repeatedly) "who did I speak to?" "we'd already had a recent prescription for this", "we've got it wrong it's not physically in the building!" "staff we spoke to was referring to it being ordered on the screen" Hubby calls me for exact details of this conversation to which I relay giving the date and time of the call, he's told "That staff member wasn't even working on Saturday", "they haven't got it there" etc etc and then someone pipes up with "oh yea I've found it" Hubby says "Sorry, you have got it?" staff ignore him, no apology they talk of other medication on the prescription, hubby queries if the ADHD medication IS in the bag also, told "take a look!" Hubby works in Mental Health and has a thick skin he's not being sensitive he's just fed up about it! We have always been polite and courteous as is our upbringing, grateful for assistance etc and if this was a one off you'd think ok, getting back to work , miserable weather today etc and perhaps if this was the only pharmacy around for miles and miles we'd have no choice but it's not we have options so with a heavy heart we will change over. We have 1 more prescription to collect which I can't change now so at least 1 more visit is needed.
