Right to Respond

Healthwatch is committed to providing a transparent and honest view of health and social care services. This is your opportunity as the health or social care provider to have your say on comments the public have left. It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

  • Keep the language and tone civil
  • Don't mention personal details
  • Make it relevant to the review

Remember, your response will be seen by everyone who reads your organisation's comments, not just the original reviewer. Your reply is a good opportunity to acknowledge any comments received.

The doctors are good, but will never use language line

Good doctors, but they will not use the language line, which is a problem.. To book an appointment I walk to the surgery as the phone line is always engaged. The doctors are good, but will never use language line. I use my little English for my mother's appointments or, if they are after school, my children help translate. Once the doctor agreed to phone my friend to translate. My elderly mother has severe heart problems and is under the hospital.
