Felt no progression for myself.

Did the 6 weeks exercises, had an appointment and then another but there was no progress. It was all based on my weight, even though I was on medication that made it very difficult to lose weight. It was very criteria based and I felt that he wasn't listening to what I was saying. There was very little advice and support given. Even when patients were trying but struggling to do the group exercises there was little acknowledgement or encouragement.

Hearing aid centre. I visit every 3 months for hearing aid checks which has worked well for me
Excellent care for my ME

The Practitioner helping me manage my ME has considerably helped. A daily activity diary helps me recognise when I'm doing too much and when I need to take rest breaks. A good service.
Leg Clinic staff are great

I attend the leg clinic weekly and the staff are absolutely wonderful and do such a great job. We have a laugh and joke and they are marvelous.
Not keen on the referral system for physio

I used the self referral route for physio after my doctor suggested I contact them. I didn't particularly like the system as it meant calling different numbers but once I was seen by the physio I was very happy with the treatment and advice.
Excellent support during my chemotherapy

Home & clinic appointments for looking after my PICC line and emotional support during chemotherapy. Support with digestive system problems was kind and helpful.
Good physio treatment

I was referred to Stow Lodge Physio team by the physio at Stowhealth. This all went smoothly and I am now seeing the physio regularly. He has given me exercises to do and has explained everything well. Previously I had been paying privately for physio but this is much better.
Easy to access, good service

I self referred for physio and was seen within a fortnight. I was told what exercises to do at home and everything was explained well. Even when I saw the trainees I was really impressed.
