Poor public transport in rural areas

Living in a village north of Saxmundam we have an infrequent bus service, making it very difficult to attend appts, shop, go to a doctor, volunteer etc. For example to go to Ipswich Hospital almost requires a taxi at least for one on the journeys, £60 each way! SCC needs to ensure there is public transport, subsiding routes if necessary, as this is essential.
