Absolutely shocking
I went to book a check up appointment today but was told I can no longer be seen as an NHS patient because I cancelled a private hygienist appointment last year. I called and left a message in the answerphone which they didn’t pick up. I was charged for the appointment and have now paid it under duress. I have been told today that even though I have paid for the appointment they didn’t cancel that I can no longer be an NHS patient because of this cancellation and a cancellation I made (and rebooked) in 2018 when the current owners didn’t even own the practise. I feel terribly sorry for the poor ladies on reception who have to deal with such poor policies every day. While I was waiting there was another lady being told that because she had covid and had to cancel her appointment that she could no longer be seen either. An absolute disgrace of a company who seem to only want private patients and the rest of us can be struck off.
