Barham and Claydon surgery wonderful doctors

February 19, 2020
I have been to my doctors surgery today. I am so lucky to have such wonderful doctors. The surgery itself Barham and Claydon Is nothing to look at from the outside, but it's all about the people inside. For their sake I wish they could have a new surgery there but as it is I couldn't ask for more. Carry on the good work.

Care very good

I do find it difficult at times to get appointments when they are needed but overall the care provided is very good, its just a shame how long it can take to get seen.

Polite and helpful

August 16, 2018
I needed to wear a 24 hour blood pressure monitor. Unfortunately the one I was given seemed to work but my surgery rang me to say it hadn't and so I had to go and collect another monitor. This worked and the process was okay.Surgery was polite and helpful.

Happy with the care

January 25, 2018
Happy with the care provided but have had to wait 7 weeks to see a specific doctor but have a good relationship with my GP. Having more capacity at the surgery would be better.

A very efficient surgery, its nice and local and I get called for regular check ups. When you call in the morning you generally get an appointment.

On the day appointments go quickly

December 13, 2017
On the day appointments go very quickly. Phoned recently at 8.05 and there was only one appointment available. You don't get offered any other options than calling back the next day even with the children.

Good continuity

The receptionists aren't always very helpful but we have been lucky with the continuity with doctors for the care of my husband. Each different doctor you see means that you have to go over everything in detail from the start.

Broken machine led to private treatment

December 10, 2017
It's local. The main issue is that you can't always get an appointment with a doctor, you are given a nurse appointment. Within the last 3 months the machine to syringe ears was broken, it took over 6 weeks to get fixed and due to it affecting the hearing so badly we had to pay privately for the treatment. Don't mind seeing a nurse for most things, I was quite impressed but I would still like to see a GP when needed.

Concerned that if there is more building in the Parish then a more specific health centre would be needed.
